Key combinations
Due to some of the problems listed below, each application contains VBA macros
to upadte the addin, force the recalculate all formulas in the workbook and
resize output arrays to correct cell ranges. Each macros is assigned a respective
shortcut key combination summarized below. The list of macros and key
combinations can be viewed in Developer> Macros
menu options.
The key combinations assigned to the macroses can be modified in this menu.
Ctrl+Shift+R
. Refresh the xlloop addin (the macros forces the
addin to update itself and register all functions from java server if the
registration failed when Excel file was opened. To check that the functions were
registered, start typing =ac.
If the list of functions shows up, then the
functions were registered correctly. Press Ctrl+Shift+C
to recalculate
the functions.
Ctrl+Shift+C
. Force the calculation of all formulas in the
Excel workbook. The macros was added since Excel may not recalculate some of
the formulas which will result in missing objects on java server and incorrect
calculation results. Upon starting each Excel application, the Application.CalculateFull method
is called to recalculate all formulas in the workbook.
Ctrl+Shift+S
. Set the sizes all ranges that contain array output data.
The ranges must be configured in each Excel application.
Ctrl+Shift+D
. Enable / disable all sheets in the workbook.
If the workbook is disabled, the formulas will not be recalculated as the
workbook is open and therefore the results of the previous calculations can be
viewed even in the absence of the installed xlloop addin. It is recommneded
to disable the workbook after the calculations in the workbook are finalized.
Ctrl+Shift+G
. Set the graphs in the template using graph configuration
parameters.
